Sewaholic Patterns in the UK: Off to a Great Start!

More good news: Sewaholic Patterns are now stocked internationally! Backstitch is the first retailer to stock Sewaholic Patterns in the UK. Backstitch is a lovely online shop that carries several independent pattern lines, fabric and pre-cut kits. I’m thrilled to be included in her offering!

The owner, Alice, is a wonderful and friendly person, and was a delight to communicate with! She even wrote a post announcing the arrival of Sewaholic Patterns in her shop – check it out here: Introducing Sewaholic and the Pendrell Blouse

It gets even better! Just after the post went up on the Backstitch blog, the announcement was also mentioned in The Sewing Directory: Sewaholic Patterns Now Available in the UK.

And shortly after, the article was also featured by Cloth Magazine in the UK, making the front page! Here’s a link to the new section: Sewaholic Patterns

What an exciting way to enter a new market, don’t you think? I’ll have to start a ‘In The News’ page to save all of these mentions and articles. It’s awesome to be getting great press and attention from the UK sewing world. Thanks to Backstitch, The Sewing Directory and Cloth Magazine for featuring me!

Have a great weekend, everyone! I’m taking a much-needed weekend mini-break with Mr Sewaholic. We’re hoping for a little rest, relaxation and fun in the snow. Don’t worry, I have plenty of Pendrell Sew-Along posts prepared for next week. There’s still lots of time to get caught up with the group, if you wanted to get in on the Sew-Along fun. Next week we finally get to start sewing!

How exciting! Congratulations Tasia! I’ll be cutting out my fabric this weekend, so I’m happy to have time to catch up. I’ve been too tired after work the last few days to do much in the evenings besides eat dinner and watch a little tv before bed. :P Enjoy your mini-break!

Congratulations! What an amazing spread! But you’re totally worth it, hope this is the beginning of you selling lots in Europe =)
And for personal reasons I’m very happy about it, as buying anything from outside the european union is a nightmare for Swedes (tax, toll and a 20 US$ handling fee). So now I’m off to tell al my sewing friends to get your pattern ; )
    Have a great mini-vacation!

I think your doing a great job on promoting your patterns and on the design. I would really like my own Prendell but this international shipping thing is such a pain that stopped me so far from purchasing the pattern. Did you ever consider bringing out a purchase as download option? In my experience choosing a new sewing project usually happens unplanned and it would be so great to be able to download the right pattern at that moment without having to wait for weeks, before the pattern arrives here in Germany.

Congrats, Tasia! You put so much love into your work (judging by this sew-along alone!) and I’m glad it’s paying off for you :)
