Who’s moving? I am! After a year in my current teeny office – and after admiring the bright, spacious Colette Patterns studio when I was in Portland – I decided it was time to upgrade my workspace. I’ve quickly outgrown my small office in a short time. With each new pattern, the office fills up completely with cardboard boxes, making it hard to navigate from the doorway to the computer. I have to assemble the patterns as quickly as possible so I can breathe again!

(what it looks like, but much worse. this was during the Minoru pattern launch and we’ve done 4 patterns since then!)
So, I’m moving on up to a larger office. Same great building, just a bigger room!
In this new office, I’ll be able to double the bookcases and add a hanging rack for samples. (Yay! I tried to fit a rack in here before but it was impossible to move…) I’ll still have a window and I’ll be closer to the printer. Most importantly, I’ll have more room to sew without having to shift everything around to try and make room.

And in preparation for the move, I have to unload all of the patterns from my shelf so I can move the big heavy bookcase. As soon as I realized that, I thought to myself, the more I sell, the less I have to move…
Which means, it’s time for a sale! Shop the Pattern Store at sewaholicpatterns.com and use the promo code MOVING at checkout to get 20% off your order. All patterns are on sale, including the brand-new Alma Blouse! The more you buy, the less I have to pack, move and unpack. It’s a win-win!
Click here to visit the pattern store.
The fine print: Promo code is valid on orders all around the world, and can only be used once. Sale starts today and runs until Thursday, September 6th at midnight Pacific Standard Time.
Happy shopping, everyone!

Congrats! You have come such a long way in such a short time, that’s a fantastic achievement :)
My birthday is Sunday and I forwarded this to my entire family along with a list of the patterns I want. Hopefully they got the hint. ;o)
You got me! Thurlow trousers here I come. Good luck with the move.
Well I’ve been eyeing up your patterns for a while, so I guess there is no better time than now to order them, yay!
Good for you! So exciting that you need more space.
I’ll be in on that moving sale…
How great for you. I am a proponent of a good work space. You have done so much in such a short time and deserve the upgrade! Best of luck with the sale.
Congratulations Tasia! How exciting that you are moving, ahh a bigger workspace, you deserve to be able to move around a bit more. Good luck with the move.
Congratulations on the move! To help ease the weight off, consider yourself three patterns lighter at least! Looking forward to making my first Sewaholic outfit soon!!
Very exciting! good luck with the move I hope it all goes smoothly for you.
Congratulations! Good luck on your move and your business.
Thurlow and Alma – check!
Congratulations on a very productive & successful first year!!
Need any office staff?? I’m available! lol
Good luck with the move Tasia, how very exciting.
Xxx
How exciting–it’s great that your business has taken off so well that you already need a bigger space! And I did my part…. I already owned most of the patterns but this was a great excuse to buy the Alma, right?
Sigh…Tasia, you temptress.
Still, we’re coming into summer now (though you wouldn’t know it to look outside!) and I don’t feel like going through the ordeal of *buying* shorts…
I stumbled across your blog about a week ago from a google search – since then I think I’ve read almost every post – sooooo many tips and lots of gorgeous inspiration. Your Twin Spruce dress has inspired me to make my first dress in about 10 years (3rd one ever) and your patterns are now on my birthday list. I don’t normally comment but your work is too gorgeous not to.
Hel x
Sheesh. You’re bad for my bank balance and my PhD, and good for my sewing. I cracked and bought all three patterns I’d been eyeing up for a long time… and I thought I’d been so good, holding out. Looking forward to my exciting patterns – good luck with the move, fingers crossed it won’t be too stressful!
Congratulations on the big move Tasia! That’s so great and I hope it goes smoothly. I wish I could take advantage of the sale of your lovely patterns but I desperately need to check a few things off my project list first! I’ll be prudent, but sale or no sale, I just wanted to say that the goal of making your patterns keeps me motivated to work on my current projects and continue to learn more about sewing. (I’m a total beginner).
Cheers!
