Hart’s Fabric Giveaway Winner! Plus, a Shop Update

Happy Friday, everyone! We have a winner! The winner of the $100 Hart’s Fabric Giveaway, picked randomly by Hart’s Fabric, is…

I live near Hart’s (DANGEROUS) and I’m kind of in love with everything they have. However, while skimming through their website, I was really drawn to Circle Flowers Silk Chiffon Fabric Peach. It just says Spring to me!
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!

Congratulations Anne! I agree, your fabric pick definitely says Spring to me too. I’ll forward your contact information to the lovely people at Hart’s Fabric, and we’ll get your prize to you. Thanks again to Hart’s Fabric for such a generous giveaway!

Whew. This week has been crazy! I rebuilt the whole pattern store to fix the issues we’ve been having. When things are running smoothly, you never think about them. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? Then when they do break, you can either get upset, or you can see it as a new opportunity to build it better than before. Now it’s lovely, simple to use, and most importantly, reliable. I still want to make a few minor changes but it’s 95% complete and 100% ready to take your orders. Take a look – I’d love to know what you think!

Next week, we’ll get back to the Minoru Sew-Along so we can finish up our jackets. I have the thread and I’ve even done a teeny bit of work on the jacket. It’s time to write up some sewing how-to posts and finish what we started!

Oh and I still need to show you the sewing-related birthday present. (The knitting-related ones will come when I’ve knit up the yarn into pretty things. I was thrilled to receive gift certificates to yarn shops and oh, the lovely wooly things I plan to make! It’s snowed a couple times in the last week so anything warm and cosy is quite appealing right now.)

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

I love the new pattern store Tasia. I also like how you’ve put the top selling patterns – very interesting that the Renfrew is the most popular!

Ah! That’s only since last night, so it’s not entirely accurate. :) But if you look at the last month, Renfrew was the most popular, so that part is true! I like to see things like ‘most popular’ too. Pretty soon people will ‘Like’ and ‘Pin’ the patterns so we’ll be able to see which are frequently pinned and liked as well.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Hello again! Any chance Hart’s will offer a coupon for the Sewaholic readers who didn’t win? I’d sure love one of those, and it would certainly tempt me to buying what I’ve had stashed in my shopping cart for awhile.
I love the new pattern store features-maybe once I figure out Pinterest I’ll have a patterns I loooooove board!

Yes! I’m posting it on the blog shortly but you can use the coupon code ‘sewaholic’ for 10% off your purchase, including an extra 10% off sale items! Yay!

Oh dear, I clicked over to the Brooklyn Tweed site…and now I need to go buy some yarn. I don’t even love to knit, but those blankets!

Oh, I know! I love everything on their site. It’s wooly and rustic and modern all at the same time. It’s very wooly yarn, not very soft, but fluffy and light and feels very natural, I really like it!
