I’ve said this before, but it’s still true! One of the best parts of designing sewing patterns is seeing your finished creations. Thought I’d share some of the beautiful finished skirts from the Sew-Along today!
Today is Florals Day: all of the skirts I’m showing have floral prints!
Amy at Sew Well used a gorgeous satin organza in a black and white print. So classic, so beautiful! (Click the image to visit her blog and see more photos!)
Kestrel finds and makes a summery red Crescent Skirt! She did a beautiful job finishing the inside with French seams and binding on the hem. Isn’t it nice when we feel good about the inside, even when only we can see it? (Click the image to visit her blog and see more photos!)
Another pretty floral Crescent skirt from the knottygnome knits, this time in blue with red piping! Love the bright, contrast trim. (Click the image to visit her blog and see more photos!)
There are so many great skirts to share, I’ll be putting together a few more Skirts by You posts! So many creative, inspired versions of this pattern. It’s so much fun to see them all!
Check out more Crescent Skirt photos in the Flickr Pool here!
PS. Want your own Crescent Skirt pattern? Order yours today – click here to visit the store!

It IS so much fun to see what others do with the same basic ingredients! (That’s why I spend far too much time trolling around to see the creations of others, only to complain that I could be spending the time sewing my own stuff.)
It`s wonderful! I love them all. I hope I `ll have also the courage to sew skirts – by now I mostly sew blouses and shirts.

They all look so good!
Thanks for including my skirt in the feature. Beautiful skirts by all – but, it’s as expected since we had a wonderful pattern to follow and a great guide sewing along with us. I can’t wait to see what other skirts you feature!
Ooh, thanks for featuring my skirt! I loved taking part in the sewalong. It must be lovely to see what people have made with your pattern too.
such great fabrications of your pattern, Tasia. Thanks for sharing.
I FINALLY got to go to the sewing supplies store to buy the interfacing I needed this very morning (yes, I know the sew-along began in april…)! Those finished Crescen skirts were just what I needed to boost myself a little… I’m going to have a look at the Flickr pool, now!
Hey Tasia, I know that I’m waaaaaay late (can I blame traveling and an irrational fear of regular zips?) but I’ve finally finished my skirt! You can see it here: http://curvespatternsandpins.blogspot.com/2011/08/i-cant-believe-im-such-pansy-skirt.html
Thanks again for a great sew-along x
